The Kia Venga is a 5-door small MPV launched by the Korean manufacturer at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.  It is has won many compliments for offering a spacious and comfortable environment for its occupants, although it has been said the car could be more engaging to drive.  The petrol options offer the best performance, but the diesel engined models have a much better fuel economy.  The Kia Venga’s styling helps facilitate is roomy interior, with the wheels situated in each corner, and for buyers looking for something with more space inside than the average family car it may be a viable option. The Kia Venga range has a price bracket between £11,995 and £15,795 when purchased new.  The entry level model is the Kia Venga 1 .1.4.  This is powered by a 1.4-litre 16v petrol engine, producing 89bhp, and fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox.  This model has a combined fuel economy of 45.6mpg, and comes as standard with power steering, central locking, electronic stability control, alloy wheels, air conditioning, electric front windows, immobiliser, CD player, and air bags all round.  The range topping model is the Kia Venga 3 1.4 CRDi EcoDynamics.  This has a price tag of £15,795, and is fitted with a 1.4-litre 16v diesel engine, which produces 89bhp, and allied to a 6-speed manual gearbox will return an impressive 62.8mpg.  The Kia Venga 3 CRDi EcoDynamics gains climate control, electric windows all round, and MP3 connectivity.
The Kia Venga performed well in Euro NCAP crash testing, and was awarded an overall 5-star rating by the independent consumer organisation.
